Brokers have a vital role to play in spreading the word about the importance of cyber cover for businesses of all sizes, explains Steve Williams

The prefix ‘cyber’ is fast becoming ominous to companies of all shapes and sizes. However, the risk the term represents should not be swept under the rug – companies, in particular SMEs who are often more vulnerable than larger corporations, should instead look to building a comprehensive strategy to deal with this ever-evolving problem. And it must not be forgotten that brokers can play a key role in in helping their clients understand this new risk and advise on right level of cover.
