Heading out of lockdown? ‘Roadmap’ gives cause for cautious hope and events start to hit the diary
I write this a few days after the government announced the apparently “irreversible” roadmap out of lockdown. And on the day it downgraded the Covid threat from a 5 to a 4.
While I’ll never get used to our PM’s capacity for saying foolish, hubristic things (irreversible my foot!) the roadmap does, despite my personal skepticism, at least offer some beacons of hope along with the vaccine rollout.
