Group Direct has created a UK Insurance Retail Division to bring together its various insurance broking operations. The new division will control more than £60m gross written premium in 2006. Group Direct's Commercial Vehicle Direct, One Business Insurance Solutions, Motor & Home Direct, Taxi Direct and HPDI businesses will now report to Martyn Holman, who will head up the division and also retain his current role as managing director of One. Graham Powell will continue as managing director of
