Manchester has been selected as the location for the first regional office of insurance and reinsurance advisory firm, FirstCity Partnership. The decision coincides with the appointment of Peter Stevenson, a senior insurance professional recruited from within the Manchester business community, to lead the firm's expansion into the North. FirstCity said it believed that Manchester would now have a "unique advisory resource that would offer a truly bespoke insurance service'".
