Open GI has extended its web trading solutions for brokers with the launch of an online quote and buy solution for open market personal lines EDI products. Quote and buy enables brokers to sell motor, home, bike and commercial vehicle insurance via their websites, subject to insurer agreement. The pilot is currently under way with a number of major brokers, with general release planned for September/October. The solution can be integrated to work with aggregator websites and is an extension of
