Marsh raids JLT for new senior hire
Simon Curtis succeeds Ian Clarke as chief operating officer
Marsh has appointed Simon Curtis as chief operating officer (COO) of Marsh UK.
Based in London, Mr Curtis will report to Martin South, CEO Marsh UK. He succeeds Ian Clarke, who has accepted a senior management position within Marsh's international division.
Mr Clarke will continue to be a member of Marsh’s board and will also serve on the international executive group.
Mr Curtis joins Marsh from Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), which he joined in 2000 following JLT’s acquisition of the Burke Ford

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m
