Two FSA heads jump ship following plans to reform
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has been hit by two senior resignations as the coalition Government announced its plans to reform the regulatory system in the UK.
Jon Pain, managing director of supervision and an FSA board member, announced that he intended to leave the organisation in 2011. Hector Sants, FSA chief executive, said Mr Pain had decided there would be no suitable role for him in the new structure.
In addition, Insurance Age has learnt that Tony Brooke-Taylor, head of wholesale insurance firms, has handed in his resignation and is due to complete his notice period by early July.
