Chartis Insurance UK has opened an underwriting office in Chelmsford as it continues to grow its regional operations in the UK.
Tom Doherty, executive director corporate accounts practice at Chartis, said: “This move is part of our drive for expansion across the South East and the location offers good opportunities for our SME and middle market initiatives.
“Existing supporting brokers can continue to be well serviced but we are now in an ideal place to work and grow with new partners within the region.”
