Bluefin and Wentworth Alexander settle legal dispute
Bluefin has confirmed that a settlement has been reached in its legal wrangle with competitor Wentworth Alexander.
In February 2012, sister title Post, revealed claims that a Wentworth Alexander employee who previously worked for Bluefin had been followed by private investigators allegedly hired by the consolidator.
At the time the Axa-owned consolidator refused to comment on the allegations, but did admit it would hire private investigators when appropriate.
In Bluefin's High Court action, launched last year, it said it had lost 63 clients, which allegedly amounted to a financial deficit of £700,000 a year
