RSA Ireland uncovers claims and finance issues
Provider's Irish operation predicts its operating result will now be £70m lower.
RSA Ireland will conduct an independent investigation into the claims and finance issues uncovered last week.
It comes after the insurer suspended its CEO Philip Smith, CFO Rory O'Connor and claims director Peter Burke after having identified concerns in its Irish claims and finance functions during a routine internal audit.
Accountant PWC has been appointed to undertake a review of these issues, which will focus on the financial and regulatory reporting processes and controls within RSA's Irish
