JLT Group's pre-tax profit falls by 3% for 2015

Revenue grows by 5% to £1.15bn

JLT Group's reported profit before tax fell by 3% to £155m for the year to the end of December 2015.

The results for the 12-month period also showed that the firm's revenue grew by 5% to £1.15bn.

That included 2% organic revenue growth.

The company's risk and insurance businesses represent about 75% of group revenue.

For this division revenue came in at £866.6m - a 6% rise on the previous year.

Headwinds
Within the unit specialty businesses accounted for £693m of last year's revenue while JLT Re
