The British Insurance Brokers' Association is right to be worried about aggregator sites but it should extend its concern to broker sites as well. There is too much emphasis on making it easy to buy, but not enough on ensuring that customers can buy safely.

I have raised this with the Financial Services Authority several times, and it has yet to show interest. There is practically nothing relevant on its website, and yet the number of people buying online is enormous.

When a broker sells online

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
