Mike Butler has taken up the position of general manager with Ignition, the specialist marketing company supporting brokers' business development efforts. Mr Butler will also retain his position as head of commercial marketing for Axa Insurance, which purchased Ignition in 2007. He has already outline goals for the business, including: retaining independence; offering a more accessible proposition; building on sales successes and growth opportunities; and enhancing Ignition's broker proposition
