A good fit?

Paul Picknett, director of corporate strategy and support at
Groupama, recently predicted there will be fewer than 4000 brokers in five
years.


Few brokers would disagree. The broker market is currently experiencing
rapid consolidation, with succession problems, the cost of regulation and
IT, and an ever-decreasing number of insurers forcing smaller brokers to
sell up.


Broker Bruce Stevenson is determined to be one of the 4000 left and has
acquired entire brokerages and individual books of business
