Norwich Union's Patrick Snowball must be delighted that his company
has stopped paying transaction charges to Policy Master, and has moved
over to paying up front development fees plus regular maintenance
charges.


For some time now, Mr Snowball has been keen to remove transaction charges
because of the vast amount of money it takes out of the channel.


While no software house will actually tell you how much money it makes
from transaction charges, if you work on the basis that charges are levied
at
