An analyst for a leading bank has claimed Misys General Insurance is worth £165m, or 15 times its profit after tax. The source said: "Misys is in a good position and has strong cash flow, though there are limited growth prospects, for example, it cannot export its products."
Another analyst, also at a leading bank, claimed software house Misys' general insurance division is worth around £200m. The analyst said it was worth 17 times its annual profit after tax.
