Abbey Legal Protection's move to slash commercial legal expensesinsurance premiums by 50% has been greeted with surprise by rival
providers.
None of them intends following this as the number and size of
employment-related claims are set to increase as a consequence of recent
legislative changes.
Last year saw the employment tribunal award limit rise from £12,000 to
£50,000, and the qualifying period of employment for unfair dismissal fall
