Andrew Paddick, director general of the Institute of InsuranceBrokers, has told Professional Broking that he believes over 90% of the
broker market will join the IIB when it converts to a joint trade body and
regulatory organisation next April.
Last month, the institute sent a questionnaire to all UK brokers in order
to find out who they want to be regulated by after the dissolution of the
Insurance Brokers Regulatory Council on 30 April 2001.
