The IFA Association has formed an alliance with the Institute ofFinancial Planning in a bid to raise professional standards within the IFA
sector.
The two bodies are hailing the union as the first step towards forming a
true professional body for IFAs. While both the IFA Association and the
IFP will retain their independence, a future merger has not been ruled
out.
Under the terms of the alliance, the two bodies will promote the
