Allianz Cornhill will cease writing motorcycle risks from 1 March2000. The insurer says it wants to concentrate on developing its position
in the motor and household markets.
Exclusive renewal rights on the book of 300,000 policyholders, worth £10m
in gross written premium, have been given to NIG.
Prior to renewal, policyholders will receive a letter from Allianz
Cornhill, showing policy renewal date, the premium NIG is offering and
proof of no claims bonus. Allianz Cornhill is currently advising
