GISC reviews proposals.
The General Standard Council's announcement that it has revised its regulatory proposals is welcome news - particularly for smaller brokers and intermediaries. Tim Collison reports.
The General Insurance Standards Council's decision to revise itsproposals as a direct result of responses made in the second consultation
period, should make sleeping at night a little easier for many brokers and
intermediaries.
Smaller firms and non-core insurance providers have had the burden of
regulatory costs eased with the minimum annual fee being reduced from £300
to £200, which has been welcomed across the board. "I am very pleased the
