Royal & SunAlliance has launched a defects policy, which meetsstandards set by the British Property Federation.
RSA's specialist Property Investor's Unit developed the product after
close consultation with both the BPF and the Association of British
Insurers.
The policy covers property owners against damage to buildings caused by
defects in their structure or weatherproofing. Unusually, it also covers
against mechanical and electrical problems and is available under three
distinct headings - Core
