Brokers should not be affected by Allianz Cornhill's decision to move a number of business processes from the UK to India.
The insurer has set up an offshore company Allianz Cornhill Information Services to deliver a range of services including IT, data processing and call centre activities. Allianz Cornhill will transfer 400 jobs to Trivandrum by the end of 2005 and aims to make savings of £5m per annum through the facility.
Allianz Cornhill expects to complete the transfer with minimal
