Over 30 brokers and intermediaries have signed up to Cover.Net, the
Internet initiative developed by Northern Ireland broker D McClarty &
Co.


The facility allows members to sell their products through a central
Internet site.


Utilising the system's tendering service, customers can select their
choice of insurance, complete a simple product questionnaire and receive
quotations from a selection of brokers and intermediaries.


McLarty is now actively marketing the facility to intermediaries on the

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme has indicated its levy for 2025/26 will rise to £394m from £265m this financial year as it cited having lower surpluses to carry forward and offset bills – a factor that has benefited brokers for two years in a row.
