Over 70 new jobs were created in Leeds when Halifax General Insuranceopened a state-of-the-art, custom-designed call centre. The centre will
bring all the Halifax's insurance sales staff together in the same
building for the first time. Alex Harrison, head of direct sales and
marketing at Halifax, said: "We've seen a huge expansion in all areas of
our business and the new centre will provide us with the platform to
achieve our future growth plans."
