Abbey Legal Protection has surprised the market by halving premiums on its employment-led commercial legal expenses policy.The company said it has taken the decision following a two-year market study which revealed that expensive litigation could be reduced through effective risk management. Abbey said its legal helpline - which it set up two years ago - has been an integral part of its risk managment activities.
