The Financial Services Authority has set out its proposed application
fees in CP 180. The regulatory body hopes to offer discounts for early and
electronic applications and aims to link firms' annual income with a
series of price bands. Smaller intermediaries could pay an application fee
of £500 while intermediaries with an annual income exceeding £25m could
pay an application fee of £22,500. Final fee blocks and the FSA's
application fee policy will be published in the autumn.
