The insurance sector has trailed third from bottom in a survey revealing who the "well-informed" members of the UK public trust in business.
Edelman's Trust Barometer found that although trust in business overall had risen in the UK from 49% to 53%, the insurance sector did not enjoy the same boost with only 31% of respondents saying they trusted their policy providers.
