New solicitors' PI scheme launched

St Mary Underwriting has launched a new solicitors’ professional indemnity (PI) insurance offering for small- to medium-sized solicitor firms.

The release of the scheme, which provides up to £3m for any one claim per policy, follows the withdrawal of Quinn Insurance from the sector in England and Wales.

St Mary Underwriting, which is an appointed representative of PYV, aims to offer cover to firms of 20 partners or below.
