Even FSA staff in the dark over regulatory changes
Staff at the Financial Services Authority (FSA) are being left in the dark over the imminent changes to the regulatory system.
According to the FTAdviser, minutes from internal meetings of the FSA’s staff consultative committee meeting, held in June, showed staff were unsure what the changes would mean in terms of job losses, or which division individuals would work in.
The minutes read: “There was some uncertainty resulting from the fact the legislation was not yet in place and could potentially change the new organisations, which was outside the FSA’s control. It was understood that, for a period of time, some staff
