Home & Legacy adds new panel member in bid to "widen footprint"

Barry O Neill

High net worth (HNW) insurance specialist Home & Legacy has revealed that Lloyd's syndicate Novae has joined its panel in a bid to widen its non-standard footprint.

The broker said the addition of the underwriter would help develop its non-standard construction, occupancy and occupation risks.

Speaking to Insurance Age, Home & Legacy managing director, Barry O'Neil, confirmed: "We already have great coverage but there are some elements on the periphery where we wanted a more consistent response.

"Our clients have unusual aspects to their risk."

Among the risks catered for will be temporary unoccupancies caused by the likes of long holidays or work
