Aberdeen goalkeeper guilty of uninsured driving
Aberdeen Football Club goalkeeper Jason Brown has been banned from driving for six months and fined £365.
According to reports in the Daily Record Mr Brown was caught driving without insurance by the police near Aberdeen's ground - Pittodrie Stadium - on 9 August.
At a court hearing in Aberdeen on 11 December Mr Brown pled guilty to driving without insurance or the appropriate licence.
However his legal counsel claimed Mr Brown was unaware - possibly due to having moved house - that his insurance had been cancelled at the time of the offence.
