Hester hails S&P’s continued A rating of RSA
CEO says decision reflects insurer’s “significant progress”.
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services (S&P) has affirmed its 'A' insurer financial strength ratings on RSA and stated that the outlook on all long-term ratings for the insurer is stable.
S&P also reiterated the A/A-1 counterparty credit ratings for the provider.
The levels were first given in February last year reversing the downgrade of December 2013 when the insurer lost its CEO Simon Lee and was engulfed in problems at its Irish operations.
