ICO deals with 378 information complaints in insurance
Body works to address concerns connected to the Data Protection Act.
The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) dealt with 378 cases in the 2014/15 financial year relating to the UK's insurance sector involving complaints about private personal information.
That was down from 412 cases reported to the ICO in its previous financial year which runs from April to March.
The figures were obtained following a Freedom of Information Act request by Insurance Age.
