Amanda Blanc becomes chief executive of Axa UK & Ireland

Paul Evans moves to Axa Group Management Committee with responsibility for the group’s life, savings and health business.

Amanda Blanc is to become chief executive of Axa UK & Ireland from 1 July.

Current chief executive, Paul Evans, will move to Axa's Group Management Committee where he will take responsibility for the group's life, savings and health business.

No decision has been made on Blanc's replacement and her current team will continue to report into her until a replacement in in place.

Most recently, Blanc, who joined Axa in 2011, took the lead of Axa's integrated general insurance unit in January this
