Business as usual, say insurers after Brexit vote
The ABI stresses the importance of "ensuring the UK remains a globally competitive place to do business".
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) and insurers and have said that it is too early to say what the impact of the Brexit vote will be on the industry, but have stressed that "it is business as usual".
Yesterday, Britain voted to break out of the European Union, which has led to Prime Minister David Cameron announcing he will resign.
The final result showed 17.4 million people had voted Leave and 16.1 million people had voted Remain in the EU membership referendum.
