Emerald Life launches travel cover for LGBT community
Product launch follows the news that only 33% of LGBT people who regularly holiday abroad have a travel policy.
Broker Emerald Life has launched travel cover for LGBT people.
The company stated that the product "gives the LGBT community access to a simple yet compelling product that covers their financial needs and also responds to community-specific issues that many general insurers overlook or may not even be aware of".
The product does not automatically charge customers for medical conditions such as HIV.
