Asta completes development deal of new MGA

MGA investor Asta has completed a transaction to finance the development of a new business and is expected to take a minority equity stake in it.
The new business is OverArk, an MGA which will offer risk led property and casualty insurance cover to UK-based organisations, said Asta.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Peter Berring and Patrick Smith, both former chairpersons of Airmic, will lead OverArk.
