Recruitment pace across the insurance industry has picked up as we move towards the end of the year. 

On the broking side Marsh has restructured its networks proposition, and the division will be led by Duncan Carter while David Hopwood becomes head of Marsh Networks (see box). 

UKGlobal Holdings has hired ex-Lorica CEO Matthew Bray and Brunel has set up a new broker and appointed Matt Harlin as managing director of the new firm. Endsleigh Insurance Services, Fish Insurance, Willis Towers Watson and Citynet Insurance Brokers have also made new hires.
