The Chartered Insurance Institute has unveiled the New Generation Claims Group, which consists of eight young insurance professionals who will look at how social media can be used to improve customer communications during a claims surge. They will report to the CII claims faculty board in March 2011.

The British Insurance Brokers' Association has launched its first video series, Challenge Biba, on YouTube. The 14-part series sees a Biba member questioning the association's technical experts on a range of issues.
