Glyn Rowett tells Alex Broad he is happy to stay local and that the internet means he is no longer at a disadvantage compared with brokers from large towns or cities.

At a time when many people move away from their home town to work,
Glyn Rowett has chosen to stay in Cornwall and grow his business in the
region, regardless of how it affects his earning potential.


"If I was prepared to move out of the area, I would probably make a lot of
money but I am content here. It's tempting but I like this area," he
says.


He and a colleague started the business in one small office 17 years ago
and the company now employs 26 people working from five offices. The
