Mike Bright, chief executive of Independent Insurance, has received
approval from the Council of the Chartered Insurance Institute to be
nominated CII president. His presidency will be ratified at the CII's
annual general meeting next month. Other approved nominees include:
Scottish Provident's Lillian Boyle as deputy president, and Axa's Andy
Homer and CGNU's Bob Scott as vice presidents.
