Prudential has sold its general insurance business to Churchill, partof Credit Suisse's Winterthur operation, for £353m. The deal provides
Churchill with access to Prudential's 1.9 million general insurance
policies and the option to cross-sell motor and household products to its
four million individual medium and long-term savings customers.
