Brokers selling directors and officers cover could be set for a boom
in business, as a result of the government's proposal to reform the law on
corporate responsibility for accidents in England and Wales.


The proposed change is intended to make prosecutions easier. Organisations
convicted of corporate killing would face penalties that included
unlimited fines. Parent companies or other group companies could be
prosecuted if their management failures contributed to deaths.
