Insurer Churchill has been appointed sole underwriter and administrator for the car insurance account of Alliance & Leicester. The agreement covering new business and subsequent renewals will take effect from 1 August.The branded car policy will be offered to the building society's 5.7 million customers. Churchill will handle the sales, customer service and claims operations whilst Alliance & Leicester concentrates on marketing the service.
Churchill already provides branded car insurance
