High net worth specialist Hiscox is set to trade private and professional clients' insurance online.
The insurer will put its private clients extranet into pilot in mid-October and, if successful, will launch the system in January next year. The system will be tested by a mix of brokers, including RP Hodson, JH Hibbard and Lycetts. Hiscox aims to launch its professional clients' extranet in mid-2004.
