CIGNA International has launched a computer software and crimeinsurance policy called DataGuard. It is designed to protect a company's
software and data assets against crime and accidental loss.
The product, which was developed with IBM and Pinkerton, comprises two
insurance sections: Comprehensive Software Insurance and Computer Crime
Insurance, which can be bought separately or together. These covers can
also be purchased alongside Computer Hardware Insurance, which is an
existing Cigna product
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
