Speakers at the Iron Trades Annual Conference this month welcomed the
Court of Appeal's recent ruling on stress in the workplace and warned that
more changes are to come.


Mike Noonan, manager of the complex loss team at Iron Trades, said: "The
ruling means the employer is not liable, unless the employee had
demonstrated they were heading for a breakdown. This judgement should cut
down the growth in the number of cases and let it reach a plateau.
