Sandy Scott, director general of the Chartered Insurance Institute,
has warned of the consequences of ignoring the importance of training.


Speaking to guests at a recent Lloyd's lecture he said that training was
everybody's business in insurance today, yet many pay lip service.


Mr Scott said he believed brokers and risk managers were doing a great job
for their clients, having invested more in people than the property and
casualty market.
