National Broker Hill House Hammond has made its third acquisition in
as many weeks, with the confirmation of the take over of the broking
business of Taunton-based Lloyd and Whyte on New Year's Day.


The acquired broker has a premium income of £7m of which 90% is commercial
business. HHH brokes a premium income of just under £30m, which is
expected to rise to £100m by the end of 2004.


Lloyd and Whyte's personal lines business will be integrated with HHH's
Taunton operation but its commercial office
